A place where Bolingbrook Park District employees can share ideas to help us provide world-class park and recreation services in a fiscally responsible manner.
I think it would be a great idea to have an event similar to the "Ribfest" or "The Taste". I really think this would bring the community together more. I witnessed the ice cream social at the library this past week and it was PACKED.
Naperville cancelled their RibFest, so this would be a good time to start a new event in the area!
It would have to be different than the Promenade's Taste of Bolingbrook.
Whalon Lake does weekly food truck events.
The high school also offers one .
It would have to be something totally different than what's done around us.
chili fest?
burrito fest?
walking taco fest? (There are several ideas that have branched off the walking taco including desserts.)
